Join us for a curated walkthrough of MORPHOLOGY with our co-founder Vivek Radhakrishnan. He will take us through his thought process behind curating Meenal Singh and Sandilya Theuerkauf in this exhibition.Morphology brings together two distinct practices, bound by a shared instinct to observe, investigate and understand the worlds they inhabit through their respective mediums. Sandilya Theuerkauf’s relief sculptures emerge from a sustained engagement with the botanical world. Drawing on years of work in conservation, his practice is rooted in deep observation—looking closely at the surface to understand the structures, patterns and forms through which nature evolves and functions. Meenal Singh’s dynamic oils on canvas reflect her fascination with the geology and elemental character of the Himalayas, where she grew up. Her practice explores the physical behaviour of paint—its viscosity, movement and flow—while investigating the delicate layering of colour and the balance between composition, form and gesture. Together, the works explore how deep observation can become a process of discovery, revealing the structures and forces that shape both the natural world and the act of making itself.
