Established in 2018, Gallery Prologue (formerly Mantissa Art) is dedicated to showcasing modern, contemporary and historical Indian art.

The gallery emphasizes on contextualising the visual language of recognized and unfamiliar 20th century Indian artists through rigorous research enabling a deeper understanding of each artist’s individual and collective contribution within the broader narrative of Indian art and Indian art history.

Founded by Aliasgar Mithaiwala, a Postgraduate in Modern and Contemporary Indian Art & Curatorial Studies, the gallery's programming is shaped by his extensive expertise and curatorial vision.
