The Garden Makers brings together artists worSend Me Your LocationAn everyday request in the language of our times, Send Me Your Location asks a simple question: where are you, and what has brought you there? Beneath its digital familiarity lies a human desire to remain connected across distance and time.Twenty-one artists, originating from different parts of the country and now based in Baroda, reflect on how a place can become home, sometimes far removed from where one’s story began. The works in the exhibition are reflections of these origins and attachments, carrying traces of the landscapes, cultures, memories and experiences that continue to inform each artist’s sense of self.Perhaps the most difficult distances are not those measured in miles, but those that separate us from who we once were, or from places that no longer exist as we remember them. Send Me Your Location brings these journeys into conversation, asking what it means to belong to more than one place, how home is reimagined through movement, and whether leaving ever means entirely letting go.king across painting, sculpture, ceramics, and mixed media. Distinct in their thoughts, materials, and processes, they approach ‘making the garden’ through the intricate forms and rhythms of plant life, exploring the ecologies, rituals, and cultural histories that shape gardens and our relationship with them. Together, their works reveal the garden as something perpetually made and remade—by human hands, by the natural world, and by time itself.
